All Saints Day - November 6 All Saints Day is November 1st, but we will celebrate it together as a community on November 6th. It is one of the seven principal feasts of the church year, and one of the four days recommended for the administration of baptism. On this day we will remember our loved ones who have passed on. We ring the bell to honor them. Please call the office with the name of your loved one you would like to remember.
Services: Sunday 9:00AM and 11:00AM Sept. through May Sunday 10:00AM Summers (last single service is 9/11)
The Liturgy at Gloria Dei is truly the work of the family of Gloria Dei. Without question, it reflects the openness and flexibility which characterize our parish community as a whole.
Gloria Dei incorporates elements from Holy Catholic traditions such as celebrating the Eucharist at both regularly scheduled services, but with a distinctive character to each celebration. The 11 o'clock service incorporates more music, occasionally including a bell choir piece, and other, less traditional elements from time to time. These have included dance and tableaux performed by the children, prayers drawn from other Christian and non-Christian traditions and forms created for specific occasions.
While we are always a work in progress, Gloria Dei strives to be a place where all will feel welcome in faith and spirit.
