EARTH DAY 2018

"...at your command all things came to be:  the vast expanse of interstellar space, galaxies, suns, the planets in their courses, and this fragile earth, our island home."....excerpt from Eucharistic Prayer C, The Book of Common Prayer

Today's Earth Day Liturgy reflected our gratitude for the bounty the Lord has given us.

To demonstrate our stewardship of these gifts, each of us spread a packet of grass seed in the churchyards and gave thanks for the environmentally friendly recycled containers we will be using.

Coffee hour today was completely green!  We used recyclable dishes, cups, napkins.  We also learned about sustainable practices so that we can continue to honor the Earth and preserve it for generations to come!

When we honor the Earth, we honor the Lord!
